About & Submission Policy

How Folio62 works
Folio62 is a curated web directory — a working notebook of active online destinations sorted into twenty-two subject sections. It was assembled to provide a straightforward, browsable catalogue of sites across commercial, professional, and service sectors, without the friction of algorithmic sorting or promotional ranking. Each entry in the directory was reviewed before being added. Sites are sorted by their primary activity, and each section is given a label that describes that activity plainly. Where a site's purpose was ambiguous, it was assigned to the General section rather than forced into an imprecise fit. The directory currently holds 827 active entries across its twenty-two sections. This figure reflects sites submitted and reviewed to date, and it changes as the directory grows. Submissions from site owners are welcome at any time — the process is described on the Add a Site page. Folio62 does not weight entries by popularity, age, or commercial status. Every listed site appears under the same conditions: a name, a URL, and a short description provided at the time of submission. The structure is intentionally flat — the organisation comes from the sections themselves, not from ranking signals or editorial preference. The directory is maintained on a continuing basis. Entries found to be inactive are periodically reviewed for removal, and new submissions are evaluated as they arrive. If you operate a site and would like it included in the catalogue, the submission form is the appropriate first step.
